My Marriage and Family

MARRIAGE AND FAMILY

Rev. Richard Rohi Sylva-Jaja is married to Dearnah Richard Sylva-Jaja. Their marital bond is enriched by precious children.
Dearnah is a dynamic entrepreneur, adorned with a wealth of business acumen and a profound passion for family, dedicated to seeing her family reach God’s purpose. She holds a Master’s degree in Labour and Industrial Relations. An exceptional individual, Dearnah is deeply devoted to her family. As a devoted wife and mother, she comprehends the delicate equilibrium between professional pursuits and family life. Her convictions firmly uphold the potency of diligence, resilience, and unwavering determination in attaining one’s aspirations. With her extensive background in entrepreneurship and adept management, she has steered her enterprise to triumph through inventive stratagems and adept leadership.

Her versatility is showcased in her roles as a business advisor, motivational orator, corporate mentor, and adept in parenting guidance. She embodies an emblem of aspiration for budding female entrepreneurs, testifying that through unswerving dedication and industriousness, women can prosper in any realm they choose.

Ever amenable to her husband’s guidance: like the biblical virtuous woman, she submits to his leadership. Pastor Richard oftentimes jestingly disclosed that was matrimony possible in heaven, he would ardently seek, pursue, and espouse her anew.

Their home is perpetually brimming with mirth, akin to a celestial haven on earthly grounds. The tranquility, affection, and accord within their home bear witness to the sacrifices they both make ceaselessly. Their unity is honed through the principle of purposefulness; they believe in the Law of Intentionality in regard to their union. They’re intentional with each other and mindful in their pursuit of nurturing an enduring connection that reverberates beyond themselves, molding the character of their progeny and igniting inspiration throughout their sphere.

Pastor Richard and Dearnah believe that the home is the first gift God gives a person when he or she arrives in this world. Thus, they see their home as their cherished sanctuary, and as devout Christians, their objective is to continuously build a profound relationship that depicts the union between Christ and His church.

With this, they aspire to mold their home into a crucible of wisdom for their children, thus making it an authentic training center—where their children learn marriage and family life. By so doing, empowering them to replicate such paradigms in their own lives and future homes.

astor Richard’s affection for his home knows no bounds. It stands as a divine bequest on par with his salvation. His home is an asset and treasure from God, for which his gratitude knows no cessation. His commitment is to nurture, protect, and safeguard her until he is called home to be with the Lord.
